Port of Rosyth -- Rosyth is the newest of Edinburgh's cruise ports. The port of Rosyth is in the wonderful county of Fife with its picturesque fishing villages tucked along the coast.

Many historic attractions are within an hour's drive of Rosyth such as Stirling Castle, Gleneagles and Linlithgow Palace, together with the sceninc areas of Perthshire and the Trossachs. Dunferminline, Scotland's ancient capital, is just 1 mile north of Rosyth.

The Rosyth cruise line terminal is located 8 miles from Edinburgh and 40 miles from Glasgow on the north shore of the Firth of Forth immediately west of the Forth Road and Rail Bridge.

Parking at Rosyth is provided by Morrison's Shipping and is on-site at the Terminal. At the Rosyth terminal, you will find both short and long-term car parking facilities available, with designated areas for those with disabilities.

How to get to Rosyth

By Car :

Located North West of the Forth Road Bridge via the A90 from Edinburgh or the M90 from Dunfermline. Take the A985 west to Rosyth and then follow the signs to the Cruise or Ferry Port.

By Bus :

Fife Council and The City of Edinburgh Council provide 2 bus routes from Rosyth Ferry and Cruise Terminal to Edinburgh, Ferrytoll and Inverkeithing Station.

By Coach : There is a frequent National Express coach service operating various coaches to Edinburgh from Rosyth.

Cruise Lines offer coach transfers available from Edinburgh Waverley Station to Rosyth port.

By Train :

Rosyth train station, located in the heart of Rosyth, operates trains from National Rail. Rosyth station is served by twice-hourly trains on the Fife Circle line out of Edinburgh. The train station is located more then 1 mile away from the cruise and ferry port.

It's better to use Inverkeithing station from where Fife Council operates a free shuttle bus to the ferry terminal. Inverkeithing is the stop before Rosyth if travelling from Edinburgh.

Glasgow Central Train Station to Rosyth Terminal is 50 miles and takes approximately 55 minutes by car/taxi.

By Air :

Edinburgh Airport : Edinburgh Airport to Rosyth Terminal is 13.4 miles and takes approximately 25 minutes by car/taxi, depending on traffic.

Glasgow International Airport : Glasgow Airport is 49.5 miles away from the Rosyth Cruise Terminal and takes approximately 55 minutes by car/taxi.
